Beautiful choirs, nice beats...

Absolutely Sublime choir placements, mate! That synth line could be lowered a teeny bit, but it sounds nice! Maybe as a suggestion, alter it/arpeggiate it with some some octaves during the main melody parts? The speedy bits were tasty!

Great tune thought, man! The choir and the beats meld and swell perfectly together! :) Thumbs up, and I definitely did a chairdance after my eyes widened at those choirs hahaha!

Absolutely bangin' tune!

Badassness all over those drums and bass synth, man!! Rock!! There's something about one of the whistel-y pads that seems off-key to me...

I'm a fan of cut-n-bash back to the beats too... hehe! You did it proerper, I think, with that bass drawn out... maybe add a second rise-in as the sample revs back to the beat?? Or, completely add a delay to the sample, then wait for a pause then SMASH, in comes the beat?? Just a couple thoughts...

This is definitely tight, bro!

Peace always!

Beautiful tones!

This sounds live!! Sublime atmosphere, mate!! Brilliant chord tones and sparkling high part! :)

I love drift pieces like this...

I'd be honoured if you'd take a gander at some of my works... :)

A nice abstract piece!

I have a penchant for pieces like this... music that I can get lost in and forget where I am... :)

I kind of agree that that little pause could be lengthened ever so slightly, with a slight more build up just before... but it is excellent... this would be grand to hear you play live at a show, man!!

Huzzah, and I did enjoy this very much!

ps, and to the rather closed-minded poster: of course the dissonance works, it's that dissonance that makes the theme what it is, because it is balanced with tonality and relief!

EmperorCharlemagne responds:

I would love to perform this in front of people. But I am unsure if the audience would call it music.

I know my dad doesn't! : )

Glad you enjoyed.

peaceful and uplifting!

...this reminds me of some Apex Twin-meets-Orbital... very positive-y, relaxed, "everything is gonna be ok" vibe... :)

Huzzah!

peace always,

wicked everything!

wow... i'd offer some constructive criticism, but this tune is tops, mate!
love that minor chord progression too!! ;)

sometimes the speeding up parts mess with my head a bit, but they are smoothly done, so... :)

awesome sound effects and synths and atmospheres galore!

badass everything!!

TUNE!!!! ;)

peace always,
~justin

Cheers for the wicked review man!!
Really appreciate the feedback! !

not a bad synth sound...

not a bad synth sound atoll, mate! but you really need to re-master this, cos those drums were nearly inaudible!! perhaps try a breakdown with that synth, using some stabs of it, and with some delay or reverb, and that might give it some neat spaciousness! not a bad melody, but those drums need to be much more prominent, and that synth lowered in volume. everything should be nice and balanced, you know? ;)

Not too bad mate, not too bad... :)

DJ-BloodWraith responds:

Yeah, ill fix it, Thanks for the comment ^.^

Sublime!

Sublime work, my friend. I do love a good minor-Waltz, and you hath portrayed a wonderful composition!

Huzzah!

don't overuse those nice effects ;)

I'm not much of a hip-hop fan, but this was tasty and smooth; I could almost hear D'n'B in this. ;)

Those "drag and fade" effects (...0:09, 0:19...), use them sparingly; they're wonderful. :) They add a nice element of variation to the speed of the drums.

Some of the string harmonies were a bit...clashing in harmony, but everything was leveled nicely.

That "scratchy" effect on the drums was a neat, greitty touch. ;) I like how you ended with the "drag and fade" on the drums, but would've cut that last little screechy thing out at the end.

:) Groovy tune overall mate! :)

O.O friggin gnarly!

man... those horn hits were superb! great use of harmony and build up!!
intense drum sounds too!

(perhaps tweak the bass just a tad so it's not quite so 'boomy'; just a suggestion so as not to blow speakers hehe)

great jazzy feel man!! ^___^

i have to concur with all the others who mention that it must be longer! much longer! you have this greaaaat start and it kicks in, then... *blink...blink* o___O ... know what i mean?? you set us up for the great goods, and now we want 'em darn it all! chairdance interrupted, nooooooO! XD

peace!
