Jeebus, this is insaaaaane!! Those breaks... holy hell!! What's the BPM, 200??
And those piano chords are freaking killer...

TurbonicZ responds:

the BPM is 240 :)

I deeply appreciate this. Those pad chords were sublime, and the breaks were just rolling and vibing... I love smelling the rain, I love night, and I love this song. Thank you. I hope you're in a lighter space, friend.

AeriuIka responds:

Thank you vry much
Glad you enjoyed it that much :)

Huzzah! A great, full-length track!! This is jamming, man. Those drum twists were super, and that bass tone was deep and smooooth. The synths were perky, too! The whole, giant vibe is like Dougal & Gammer, "Fire In The Sky"-meets Bad Company UK, "Seizure"-meets John B, "Mercury Skies..." and I dig it, immensely. :D

Qshunt responds:

Thanks so much for your feedback!
To be compared with artists like JohnB and BCUK is an honour! (they're two of my favourite artists)
How do you feel about half-time DnB?
My next release is going to be some half-time with a trancey influence!

I love the sparseness in this, yet it’s so beautifully atmospheric that the space is filled sublimely. The drums are super reverb-y and ‘80’s, and I love it. Please make this longer! if I may offer a couple constructive suggestions: right before the drum sound changes, add little rises or rolls, so it smooths it out just a hair, and, it could be cool to add maybe a bassline / bass synth underneath, for some extra harmonic content, but the immenseness of the drums do fill in some of the lows already, so, you’re kinda focusing in on the ethereal synths and drums already, able to saviur each. 🙂🤘🏼

SharkwithSideburns responds:

Ayy man thanks!!! That really means a lot! :) Wasn't expecting anyone to comment on an old song of mine, but it's very welcomed. Also, thank you for the suggestions, it really helps out so I can find out what I can do to make my songs that much better. I'll definitely give it a try! I was also working on an old song recently, so who knows maybe I'll go back and make a longer version of this whenever I'm available to do so, again thank you a bunch. Your suggestions will not go to waste whether it be this song or another

Your intros are always really cool. Those (vocal) samples are perfection. This crunchy tune is chock full of sledgehammers pounding away on drumheads, haha. Gnarly. \m/

DemolisherMusic responds:

Haha thank you!

I dig Noisia, and this was a neat remix! I think like that really cool intro builds up to the first drop, and it just needs a riser or drumroll fade-in to really make it burst open. Your bass tones are sick, and those beat-slices are groovy and intense (in a good way!)!

DemolisherMusic responds:

I appreciate that bro thank you!

This was heavenly to listen to.... It made me think of night drives, and also of slow, time-lapsed sunrises... :)

Is this 160 bpm?

(I write all my D&B/Jungle/etc. tracks, at 170, but now you've got me curious as to what they would sound like at 160... Or maybe I should write a bunch in 160 and craft them together into a set?) :)

Vj responds:

It's more based on the minimalist old school sound from the mid to late 90s. I know a whole bunch of other modern labels with the same kinda deal and I've tried in implicate that sound into this song.

Good glob, man, the drum slicing! The pianos and atmospheres! Breakcore gloriousness!!

IS THIS 190 BPM??? Daaaamn.

cthrn responds:

It changes BPM mid track!
From 0:00:000 to 1:20:000 - it's 198
From 1:20:00 to 2:28:571 - it's 175
Then the rest of the track is 198 again

I like how you added those different synths throughout the theme; it gave it a really cool vibe. That little EQ fade-in at 1:20-ish was neat, and those breaks were nifty, with the reversed-sounding cymbals, though they sounded just barely a hair off time, but it's probably the gate you have on them. XD When the kicks come in, they sound like they should be a bit louder, and as you bring them in and fade them out, maybe add a little roll or cymbal swell to lead up/transition to them, and add a little impact noise at the end, where the kick stop; that would really make that last synth part pop. This is definitely a shining, great theme for a main protagonist. :)

TurbonicZ responds:

yo thanks bro!

I can appreciate the extensive time it takes to slice up and create beats like this! Those Electro tones were spot-on...almost like a Minimalist-esque sound, which gave the new parts coming in, a chance to meld and interact with the other rhythms. A question though: was this in 3/4 time? Some parts seem Waltz-like, superimposed over 4/4, creating quite a polyrhythm!

aidannibbles responds:

Thanks. This was an old work
